Sit like a Buddha by Lodro Rinzler

Why do you wan to Meditate?
To improve focus and handle various thoughts in properly.

How do you do the meditation?
Sit up right comfortably and observe the inhale and exhale. If your mind roams around other thoughts, label it as “Thinking” and focus back on breath.

Mindfulness & Awareness.
Mindfulness is focusing your mind on one thing fully.
Awareness is monitoring your focus. It is a policing for your focus.
You need mindfulness to focus on something you want. You need awareness to monitor your focus and to bring back focus if it get distracted.

Consistency.
Very important if you want to learn meditation.
Woke up, Brush, Drink water, Shit, Chai and Meditation — Everyday weekday.
Duration is important even if it is a short duration. But be consistent.

Laziness/Busyness/Demotivated.
Laziness is your mind saying to skip today because today it is cold/hot/not in a mood etc.
Well, don’t be judgmental on yourself. Stop thinking about Meditation and try to sit down after Chai calmly.
Busyness is skipping the meditation when you have few minutes to get ready to office.
Everything can wait. 30 mins of your morning does not cause any big damage. You are not running this world.
Demotivated. Just remember what was your intention of this practice.

Dealing with Emotions.
Strong emotions comes and takes away most of your meditation time.
Be gentle yourself at that time. It is alright. Focus on labeling it as “thinking” and bring back your attention to inhale/exhale.

Discover Peace
Practice regularly. You will find a time where you say yourself “his is different” and remember the time.
We are basically good. everyone.

Dharmic Person
Becoming passionless. You will have a passion towards bettering yourself, focusing on what your love.
As a Dharmic person you will not be running around emotions.
As a Dharmic person you try to do very few that you are passionate about. Rest of the things should be said no.
